Cooperation of Russian business with China, as well as with other countries of the Asia-Pacific region, has been leading to the implementation of a large number of cross-border projects involving business representatives from these countries. Considering this vector of development, our firm has enhanced cooperation with Russia-China Law Society (RCLS) to extend specific expertise in this area and to firm up the liaison with legal consultants in Asia. Norland Legal will be represented in RCLS’ board by its Managing Partner Vladislav Lurye.

The Norland Legal team is actively developing the stream of legal support of projects with the countries of the region. Among the projects that have already been implemented by our firm and are currently in operation:

  • advising a large Russian manufacturing company on the issues of establishment of a joint venture in India,
  • supporting investment in a Russian industrial company through the contribution of a Chinese investor,
  • legal support of Russian business representatives in the course of establishment of FinTech projects in Singapore and Hong Kong.

We are sure that participation of Norland Legal in the RCLS’ activities will help our firm to strengthen its expertise in the similar projects, as well as to expand cooperation with legal advisors in the region to provide the most effective assistance to clients in Russia and abroad.

*RCLS is a non-profit organization which main purpose is to develop Russian-Chinese relations in the field of law, as well as to assist in establishing professional contacts between representatives of the legal community of the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China.
