On September 26, 2018, we’ve held our first private meetup for our clients and friends of the firm. The topic of the first meeting was devoted to investing in digital financial assets, which raises many questions, the answers to which are rarely available in large conferences, where dozens of speakers and hundreds of people gather.
In a calm and friendly atmosphere, Managing Partner at Norland Legal Vladislav Lurye and Chairman of the Association of Distributed Registry Technologies Alexey Varabei spoke about the types of digital financial assets, the infrastructure being formed for the release and turnover of security tokens, pre-investment verification of crypto assets, as well as trends in the development of legislation in the United States , Europe and Asia in relation to the turnover of crypto assets.
After the speakers’ presentations, there was a very interesting discussion on the relevant issues of the topics brought up, with the participation of venture and crypto funds’ representatives.
